The Farm

The good land

Good Land Farm is located on over 140 acres of beautiful farmland in Windham, Maine.  The land, formerly part of the historic Clark farm, and previously stewarded by Wabanaki people, is permanently protected by an agricultural conservation easement with Maine Farmland Trust. 

The name of our farm is inspired by Wendell Berry’s essay, The Gift of Good Land. We agree with his assertion that the gift of good (all) land is conditional upon proper stewardship.
